Workstations requiring multiple monitors typically require expensive and powerhungry
graphics cards with just two or four VGA outputs per card. Applications
that can benefit from large multi-screen desktops such as in call centers,
emergency response centers, trading floors, and software development centers
have suffered from the high-cost and limited scalability of these traditional
